Nicholas Frey, a 2014 Palmerton High School graduate, was placed on the dean's list for the fall and spring semesters at Alvernia University, Reading, with a 3.77 GPA.

He is majoring in Sports Management at Alvernia. He is a member of the Sports Management Association. Nick is also employed by their Intramural Athletic Board.He is the son of Robert and Lisa Frey of Kunkletown and the grandson of Richard and Barbara Frey of Palmerton.
