A Lansford man has been charged with DUI, his second such offense in less than a year.

At 1:59 a.m. Feb. 10, Mahoning Township Police were dispatched to a vehicle in a ditch on Leininger Drive after a Subaru driven by Wade Matika, 22, went off the roadway into a snowbank. Matika was found passed out inside the car. A test showed 0.19 BAC.Matika has been charged with two counts of DUI, a misdemeanor; and careless driving, a summary offense.A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 1, 2015.Matika was previously charged by township police on Aug. 24, 2014, for a DUI crash at the intersection of Breezewood Road and Breezewood Drive. A test showed a 0.14 BAC.
