Tamaqua police have cited Robyn Lynn Erney, 23, of 423 Hazle St., Tamaqua, with retail theft.

Police were contacted at 11:36 a.m. May 30 by an employee of Boyer's Food Market, 210 Cedar St., regarding a retail theft. The report says Erney entered the store, then concealed items valued at $80.07. When she was stopped by an employee, she tried to say she bought the items at Rite Aid, despite several of them being the Boyer's store brand.The items were recovered.
