A woman was injured Wednesday morning when involved in a two vehicle crash along Route 443 in Mahoning township. The crash occurred just after 8 a.m. when three vehicles traveling east stopped for a deer crossing the roadway. The driver of the fourth car did not notice the cars stopping, striking the rear of the third car. Members of the Lehighton fire company extricated the woman from her car. The woman driving the third vehicle was not injured. Mahoning township police are investigating the incident.
