Marian's Lauren Nietz will continue her academic and volleyball career at Lebanon Valley College.

Nietz was a four-year letterwinner for the Fillies, playing the libero position. She finished with 755 career digs, placing her in the school's all-time top ten in that category. This past season, she received Schuylkill League Division 2 and All-Schuylkill League First Team honors and District 11 Second Team recognition.Also a baseball team manager and scorekeeper, Nietz's other activities include National Honor Society, Student Council Officer, Yearbook Department Editor, Anti-Bullying Organization, SADD, Student Ambassador and Eucharistic Minister. She was also the school's Homecoming Queen this past fall.She is the daughter of Jeff and Rita Nietz, and plans to major in Special Education.
