A Tamaqua man was cited on May 12 after he was observed roaming his neighborhood, without any clothing, at 6:56 a.m.

Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Race Street and found Arthur Willie McMahon, 26, of 136 Penn St., completely nude.He was placed in a police cruiser and transported back to the station. Due to his somewhat incoherent speech, officers called for an ambulance while someone went to the McMahon home to retrieve clothing. Medical personnel noted the patient's pupils were dilated and his pulse was "bounding."McMahon was cited for open lewdness and public drunkenness.
