The Allentown Fire Department bomb squad has been called in to assist the FBI and other agencies in retrieving and analyzing materials being brought out of a home at 416 W. Ludlow St., Summit Hill. The agencies are in their second day of bring what are being described as "hazardous" materials from the home.

The Allentown squad arrived on scene at about 2:30 p.m."Everything that is being done is being done cautiously in the interest public safety," said Carbon County Deputy Emergency Management coordinator Kevin Steber.
