The project manager for an architectural firm handling Lehighton school district's buildings plan said the proposed site for a new high school near the fairgrounds will work, although there are concerns about access roads.
Dave Bolasky, project manager for Wallace and Watson Associates, said during an open information meeting there would be nothing prohibiting the district from putting a first class high school on the site. The proposed site would have one access from Route 902 but Bolasky said he felt strongly there should be two roads to the school from opposite ends of the property.
