LISA PRICE/TIMES NEWS Eighth-graders in teacher Kim Woodward's class painted river rocks with an image on top and a word on the bottom. The "story stones" will be used by students at the elementary level, who will choose stones and then create a story. The students painted 600 stones, and got all supplies needed through a Raider Foundation grant. Students Kali Alabovitz, left, and Samantha Farley are two of the students who worked on the stones.
