The Tamaqua Community Art Center is hosting its first ever "Big Benefit Concert," a fun-filled evening of activities and entertainment showcasing the fine and performing arts.

The concert will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the art center, 125 Pine St., Tamaqua.There will be special entertainment provided by Tamaqua Mayor Chris Morrison, St. Luke's Miners Hospital President Bill Moyer and Tamaqua Borough Council President Micah Gursky.All proceeds will benefit the Tamaqua Community Art Center, a 501C3 nonprofit organization.Tickets are $250.
