Lehighton emergency personnel rescued an elderly woman Sunday morning after a neighbor reported seeing smoke coming from the rear of her residence. A family at 228 N. Second St. reported smoked at 226 N. Second St. about 10:30 a.m. Fire companies from Lehighton, Mahoning Valley and Franklin Township responded. The victim was treated at the scene
