State police at Fern Ridge are investigating an incident in which a Molotov cocktail was thrown onto a Carbon County road.

The incident occurred along Route 903, south of Unionville Road, in Penn Forest Township. The green glass bottle was thrown onto the road from a wooded area west of the southbound lane. The incident was reported at 7:46 p.m. on Monday.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
