A woman was injured Tuesday night when involved in a crash along Route 209 in Nesquehoning.

The crash occurred at 9:30 p.m. when she lost control of her car, entering the south berm and hitting a tree before the car rolled onto its roof.

She was freed from the wreckage by members of the Nesquehoning fire department and police before being treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital.

Route 209 was closed for over an hour. Nesquehoning police are investigating the incident.
