A Schuylkill County man is facing charges following an incident that occurred on Tuesday at 8 p.m.

State police at Frackville said David Joseph Tavares, 28, of 249 Chestnut St., New Castle Township, pulled hair out of the head and kicked a 26-year-old woman several times.Troopers said the attack occurred in front of young children in the home. Tavares then fled the home.He is facing simple assault and related charges.
