Holy Week services

St. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue, has announced its Holy Week services. They will begin on Maundy Thursday, with worship at 5:30 p.m. with the Teen Challenge Gospel Choir. An Easter dinner will follow in the fellowship hall. The Good Friday service will begin at 2 p.m. with the Bach and Handel Chorale performing. There will be no service on Saturday evening. Easter day service will be at 10:30 a.m.Egg huntThe Diligent Fire Company, Centre Avenue, will host its 68th annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, starting at 1 p.m. in the fire company parking lot. The event is open to children up to the age of 10.
