Calling all photographers!

A montage of exhibits is certain to be on display when the Friends of the Palmerton Area Library sponsors its ninth annual Photography Show in the library gallery from 2-4 p.m. Sunday.There is no fee to enter. Tickets to attend the show are $3 each, and are available at the library.Visitors are invited to show and/or sell their photographs, and also view the photographs of other local photographers, while enjoying delicious desserts prepared by the Friends of the Library.Library Director Diane Danielson said each participating photographer should submit no more than three pieces.All photos must be framed and ready to hang with a wire on the back, and be delivered to the library at 402 DelawareAve. in Palmerton by no later than noon on Thursday.Each photographer may set their own price on each photo at the time of registration.If the photo sells, the library keeps 20 percent, while the photographer receives 80 percent of the selling price.Photos not sold the day of the show will remain on display for two weeks, at which time the photographer must return to the library to pick up unsold items.Photographers may take unsold photos home the day of the show.Any photographer who would like to enter the show and has further questions should contact Danielson at the library at 610-826-3424.
