Carbon County will host a Hazard Mitigation Planning Workshop to evaluate and revise the existing Hazard Mitigation Plan at 6:30 p.m. April 1 at the Carbon County Emergency Management Agency training room, 1264 Emergency Lane, Nesquehoning.
Carbon County is in the process of beginning to update its plan, which serves as a blueprint for reducing property damage and saving lives from the effects of natural and human-made disasters that happen in the county.The workshop is open to municipal and county officials.For more information or to provide suggestions, contact mitigation planner Taryn Murray at 215-430-5514 or email
