Lehigh Carbon Community College's Early Learning Center now offers STEM summer camps beginning in June.
The camp offers children fun activities while weaving in academic learning and is geared toward children ages 3 through completion of kindergarten.Participants can choose from one to four two-week camps sessions.All sessions run from 9 a.m. to noon with extended care from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.Sessions are as follows:Session 1: At the BeachJune 22-26 - Exploring Sea LifeJune 29-July 2 - Beach FunSession 2: Build ItJuly 6-10 - Bridges and TransportationJuly 13-17 - Cities and SkyscrapersSession 3: Recycle ItJuly 20-24 - Creative ArtJuly 27-31 - Musical InstrumentsSession 4: Camping AdventureAug. 3-7 - CookingAug. 10-14 - Exploring OutdoorsRates for the sessions are as follows: A two-week morning session is $300; one-week morning session is $175; or register for the entire summer for the full-time weekly rate of $155 per week.
