Three people are being arraigned tonight on drug charges after a police chase through lower Carbon County today.

Curtis Margie, Cynthia Hippenstiel and Robert Fox were charged by Mahoning Township Police today.

Police seized 450 bags of heroin.

Police from throughout Carbon County were chasing the car through Bowmanstown, Mahoning and East Penn Township. The search included Club Road in Lower Towamensing Township, Route 895 and Route 248.

Police stopped a car at the entrance to Route 248 in Bowmanstown.

Police are also expected to arrest one more suspect who is accused of hitting a police car.

They are also looking for Palmerton woman driving a 1992 maroon Buick with damage to the right front of the car and a broken passenger window.

Involved in the investigation and apprehension were officers from The Pennsylvania Drug Task Force, Pennsylvania State Police, Beltzville State Park, Jim Thorpe, Palmerton, Lehighton, Mahoning Township in Carbon County and Lehigh Township in Northampton County.
