As part of Catholic Schools Week, the Marian High School community sponsored a socks, scarves, hats and gloves collection in support of Catholic Charities in the Hazleton area. A total of 480 items were collected for this local organization. Participating in the presentation were Paul Kowalczyk, representative of Catholic Social Services; Katie Healey, Michael Nicholson, Ashley Fannick and Kayla Rodick, Marian Student Council officers; and Sue Ann Gerhard, director of development at Marian.
