A Monroe County man, already out on bail on assault charges involving a county woman, was arrested a second time at her residence and was jailed.
Pocono Mountain Regional police said officers responded to 8105 Shadow Terrace in A Pocono Country Place in Coolbaugh Township, at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday to a report of a male breaking into the residence. The female occupant of the home fled for her safety.On scene officers found Robert Roe-Laverty, 20, of Tobyhanna, in the home. He was arrested and charged with burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief, and witness intimidation.He was taken to the county prison in Snydersville pending arraignment. Officers noted that Roe-Laverty is currently on bail on assault charges involving the same female victim.
