Anthony Farole, son of Danny and Nina Farole of Lehighton, received academic honors at Penn State by making the university's dean's list for the fall 2014 semester.

A junior at Penn State, University Park, Anthony is majoring in mechanical engineering. He is also involved in Formula SAE-Penn State's racing team, Lunar Lion, and THON, the world's largest student-run dance marathon that raises monies to help the fight against pediatric cancer.Anthony is a 2012 graduate of Lehighton Area High School.He is the grandson of Fred and Josephine Hellmund of Summit Hill, and Danny and Peg Farole of Nesquehoning.
