Carbon men are charged in child predator sweep

Two Carbon County men are among 16 people charged in a child predator sweep by the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General.

Christopher James Devosa, 46, of Albrightsville, is charged with five counts of distribution of child pornography, 50 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility. He was arraigned before District Judge Joseph Homanko of Weatherly, and released on $150,000 bail. Grant G. Harris, 36, of Lake Harmony, is charged with three counts of distribution of child pornography, 25 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility. He, too, was arraigned before Homanko, and jailed under $250,000 cash bail.Also charged were: Luzerne County: Anthony Bielut: one count of distribution of child pornography, six counts of possession of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility; Vince Diaz, Luzerne County, is charged with: one count of distribution of child pornography, one count of possession of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.Lackawanna County: Richard Edward Edwards Jr.: one count of distribution of child pornography, five counts of possession of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility; David J. Kolb: 10 counts of possession of child pornography; Bradley Larson: two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility; Charles J. Senke: one count of unlawful contact with a minor, one count of criminal attempt to commit involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, one count of criminal use of a communication facility, one count of criminal attempt to commit indecent assault and one count of unlawful contact with a minor; Eric William Shay: one count of unlawful contact with a minor one count of criminal attempt to commit involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, one count of criminal use of a communication facility, one count of criminal attempt to commit indecent assault and one count of unlawful contact with a minor; John Slusser: one count of unlawful contact with a minor, one count of criminal use of a communication facility and one count of dissemination of obscene and other sexual materials to minors; William Miller: six counts of possession of child pornography; Thomas Russell Winters: one count of unlawful contact with a minor, one count of criminal attempt to commit involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, one count of criminal use of a communication facility and one count of criminal attempt to commit indecent assault; Zachary Zbegner: one count of possession of child pornography.Pike County: Richard Adames: one count of distribution of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.Susquehanna County: Russell Bohannan: three counts of distribution of child pornography, 50 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility. Wayne County: Jason Verrastro, Wayne County, is charged with: one count of distribution of child pornography, 20 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.
