Fronheiser was 2-1 at the PIAA Team Wrestling Championships, losing only to Fort LeBoeuf's Abe Guarriello. Mader was pinned by Gentile at the Falcon Invitational, where he took fifth place. Newhall took fourth at the Falcon Invitational over the weekend after placing second at the Rams Bash the previous weekend. Lazar went 4-2 last week, including 3-2 at the Coal Cracker Round Robin Tournament. Lorenzo lost an 8-0 major decision to Blue Mountain's Hunter Blankerhorn in his only bout a week ago. After dropping a 10-5 decision to Pottsville's Luke Gardner earlier in the week, Goida rebounded by going 5-0 at the Coal Cracker Tournament, taking first in the 126-pound weight class. Kemmerer earned a 3-2 decision over Blue Mountain's Ben McQuillen in his only match last week. White did not wrestle a week ago.132 - 1. Matt Schmall, Northern Lehigh, Jr. (31-4); 2. Anthony McCue, Pleasant Valley, Jr. (15-6); 3. Hunter Kennedy, Panther Valley, Fr. (22-17).Honorable Mention - Cody Scherer, Lehighton, Fr. (15-10); Dan Russo, Palmerton, Sr. (13-13); Dalton Webster, Northwestern, So. (10-8).Notes - Schmall was 2-1 at the PIAA Team Wrestling Championships, getting both wins by fall in under a minute. Schmall was also pinned in his loss to Fort LeBoeuf's Jarret Carter. Kennedy jumps to third after going 5-1 last week, including 4-1 at the Coal Cracker Tourney, where he took second at 132-pounds. Scherer won a 9-3 decision over Blue Mountain's Colton Bender in his only match last week. Webster and McCue did not wrestle a week ago.138 - 1. Dylan Rynkiewicz, Tamaqua, Sr. (29-2); 2. Tegan Durishin, Lehighton, Jr. (26-6); 3. Caleb Clymer, Northwestern, Fr. (28-10).Honorable Mention - Ali Capobianco, Panther Valley, Jr. (25-12).Notes - Rynkiewicz went 7-0 last week, including 5-0 at the Falcon Invitational, where he pinned all of his opponents. Durishin dropped a 12-4 major decision to Blue Mountain's Christian Gosch in his only bout last week. Capobianco had a strong week, going 5-1, including 4-1 at the Coal Cracker Tournament to earn a second place finish at 138 pounds. Clymer did not wrestle last week.145 - 1. Ryan Farber, Northern Lehigh, So. (31-4); 2. Hunter Davidyock, Panther Valley, Sr. (16-13); 3. David VanBlargan, Northwestern, Jr. (18-15).Honorable Mention - Tyler Dorn, Pleasant Valley, Jr. (10-7).Notes - Farber's three wins at the PIAA Team Wrestling Championships came in a variety of ways. The sophomore got a forfeit in his first match against Archbishop Carroll; an overtime win over Wyalusing's Collin Edsell in his second bout; and finished the tournament with a 13-1 major decision over Fort LeBoeuf's Samson Adams. VanBlargan and Dorn did not wrestle last week.152 - 1. Conrad Young, Northern Lehigh, Jr. (28-8); 2. Trevor Dorn, Pleasant Valley, So. (17-10); 3. Mathew Wolfe, Palmerton, Sr. (15-10).Honorable Mention - Xander Kern, Panther Valley, Fr. (10-9); Zachary Glassic, Panther Valley, Sr. (12-12).Notes - Young was 2-1 at the PIAA Team Wrestling Championships, picking up a forfeit against Fort LeBoeuf in addition to pinning Archbishop Carroll's Steve Caltabiano. Wolfe was pinned by Liberty's Anthony Emig in his only bout last week.160 - 1. Zack Christman, Palmerton, Sr. (12-7); 2. Nate Farber, Northern Lehigh, Sr. (23-9); 3. Garrett Gouger, Pleasant Valley, Jr. (22-13).Honorable Mention - Tyler Cann, Lehighton, Jr. (16-7); Antonio Madera, Jim Thorpe, Jr. (6-5); Malik Roper, Tamaqua, Sr. (5-2); Grant Lorkowski, Panther Valley, Sr. (17-14).Notes - Like brother Ryan, Nate's three wins at the PIAA Team Wrestling Championships proved he's capable of getting the job done in a number of ways. Farber pinned Archbishop Carroll's Tom Scott in his first match, and followed that with one-point decision wins against both Fort LeBoeuf and Wyalusing. Lorkowski took third at the Coal Cracker Tournament at 160 pounds. Cann returned from an absence that spanned over two weeks against Blue Mountain. Unfortunately, the junior lost a 5-2 decision to Ian Cagle. Still, Cann should have time to round into form before the District 11 tournament, which is in less than two weeks. Gouger and Christman did not wrestle last week.170 - 1. Brody Keefe, Pleasant Valley, Jr. (27-4); 2. Zachary Graver, Palmerton, Sr. (17-4); 3. Austin Arnold, Northern Lehigh, Sr. (9-2).Honorable Mention - Andrew Sorensen, Northwestern, Jr. (11-4); Tim Gergar, Palmerton, Sr. (4-4); Robbie Geisinger, Jim Thorpe, Jr. (16-8).Notes - Graver won by technical fall (16-1, 2:28) over Liberty's Josh Erney in his only bout a week ago. Arnold was 2-1 at the PIAA Team Wrestling Championships, pinning his opponents in both of his wins. Geisinger took third place at the Falcon Invitational over the weekend. Sorensen and Keefe did not wrestle this past week.182 - 1. Connor Frey, Lehighton, Jr. (26-3); 2. Dylan Moyer, Panther Valley, Jr. (23-10); 3. Jarred Mooney, Palmerton, So. (20-9).Honorable Mention - Antonio Santana, Pleasant Valley, Sr. (5-5); Chad Cederberg, Northern Lehigh, Jr. (12-10).Notes - Frey was impressive in his only match last week, claiming a 16-5 major decision over Blue Mountain's Devon Krammes, who took second in the Schuylkill League Tournament at 170 pounds. Moyer took second at 182 pounds at this past weekend's Coal Cracker Tournament. Mooney pinned Liberty's Chris Gallagher in his only match last week. Cederberg enters the rankings after going 3-0 at the PIAA Team Wrestling Championships. Santana did not wrestle last week.195 - 1. Trent Thomas, Pleasant Valley, Jr. (23-5); 2. Alexander Russo, Northwestern, Sr. (25-8); 3. Stephen Scheib, Northern Lehigh, Sr. (19-15).Honorable Mention - John Iles, Palmerton, So. (14-13).Notes - Scheib was 1-2 at the PIAA Team Wrestling Championships. Russo did not wrestle last week. Iles was pinned by Liberty's Kevin Deak in his only match a week ago. Thomas did not wrestle last week.220 - 1. Rian Shubeck, Panther Valley, Sr. (17-2); 2. Wyatt Clements, Lehighton, Jr. (17-9); 3. Jason Schaffer, Northern Lehigh, So. (15-14).Honorable Mention - Caleb Campbell, Jim Thorpe, So. (5-2).Notes - Shubeck went 6-0 last week, 5-0 at the Coal Cracker Tournament where he took first at 220 pounds and also earned his 100th career win. The senior was dominant in his victories, pinning five of his opponents in the first round and getting a major decision in his other triumph. Schaffer was 2-1 at the PIAA Team Wrestling Championships. Nelson wrestled his only match at 220 pounds last week, where he was pinned by Liberty's Andrew Gunning. Campbell enters the rankings after going 2-1 at the Rams Bash, which he followed up with a pin over Schuylkill Haven's Ben Hower last week.285 - 1. Cameron Kates, Northern Lehigh, Jr. (31-4); 2. Ahmad Curtis, Pleasant Valley, Sr. (20-6); 3. Tre Nelson, Palmerton, Sr. (15-5);Honorable Mention - Jacob Murray, Northwestern, Jr. (15-11); Will Focht, Pleasant Valley, Jr. (4-3); Alexander Smith, Lehighton, Jr. (10-10).Notes - Kates was 2-1 at the PIAA Team Wrestling Championships, getting pins in both of his victories. Like Cann, Smith also returned against Blue Mountain after missing roughly two weeks of action. Also like Cann, Smith came up short against the Eagles, getting pinned by Kirk Dougherty.
