Panthers win Coal Cracker mat tourney
The Panther Valley wrestling squad finished first in their Coal Cracker Tournament in local highlights.
Meanwhile, Panther Valley boys and Jim Thorpe girls picked up wins to finish their hardwood seasons on a positive note.WRESTLINGPanther Vy. CoalCrackerTournamentPanther Valley hosted the Coal Cracker Tournament, and eventually collected the title, edging out Bloomsburg, 245-241, and Midd West (216).The Panthers had two individuals finish in first in the 10-team tournament, as 126-pounder Darren Goida and 220-pound Rian Shubeck garnered championships.
