Valuable gold bars were reported stolen from a Carbon County residence.

State police at Fern Ridge said a woman in Indian Mountain Lakes, Penn Forest Township, reported six 100-gram, 24K gold bars were removed from her home along with $50 in cash and a set of keys.The gold bars are valued at $1,500 each or $9,000. The police report indicates there is a 44-year-old female suspect.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
