Mahoning Township Police have charged a Summit Hill man with DUI after he almost crashed into another vehicle. Just after 3 p.m. on Oct. 25, police stopped a vehicle on Route 443 near the Normal Square Mini Mart. The vehicle crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic where it nearly struck a vehicle proceeding in the opposite direction. The driver of the vehicle Leonard Moody of Summit Hill has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and careless driving. A blood test showed a BAC of .0.18 percent. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 11..
