Birte "Chris" Grover, a resident of Heritage Hill Senior Community in Weatherly, recently celebrated her 90th birthday.

Chris was born in Roskilde, Denmark, on Jan. 7, 1925.She was a stewardess in her early 20s. She speaks five different languages, which certainly helped in her profession.Chris met the love of her life, the late Niles Grover, who was a pilot, and they were married in 1948.Chris was very active in the Weatherly Flower Club, of which she was president for many years. She's made many friends throughout the local area.
