Batteries were stolen from construction equipment at a Schuylkill County site.

State police at Frackville said the theft occurred at a construction site off Morea Road in Mahanoy Township, sometime during the overnight hours of Monday into Tuesday. Troopers did not indicate how many batteries were taken.The equipment is owned by Michael F. Ronca & Sons Inc., of Bethlehem. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
