The engagement of Jenna Christine Stokes of Duncansville, and Jeremy Jenkins, also of Duncansville, has been announced by her father.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robert Stokes of Coaldale, and the late Christine Stokes.She is a graduate of Panther Valley High School. She is a graduate of Gettysburg College, where she majored in biochemistry and molecular biology. She graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and did her residency at Altoona Family Physicians in Altoona.She is employed as a physician at Blair Medical Family Practice in Hollidaysburg.The prospective bridegroom is the son of Patti and Joe Jenkins of Selinsgrove. He is a graduate of Selinsgrove High School and the University of Pittsburgh Bradford, where he majored in communications.He is employed as a department manager at Boscov's in Altoona.The couple are planning a wedding for May 9 of this year at Country Cupboard in Lewisburg.
