Two burglaries were reported recently at the former Great American Pellet Plant on Little Gap Road in Lower Towamensing Township.

State police at Lehighton said someone climbed through a second-floor window and removed items including a pellet stove, power washer, power tools and building materials.Police said the suspects likely used large equipment to move heavy materials.The burglary occurred between Dec. 26 and Jan. 4.During a second burglary, multiple electrical panels were damaged and various electrical components were removed.The investigation is ongoing.Anyone with information is asked to call 610-681-1850.
