As of 8:30 this morning several area schools have switched their two-hour delays to closing. The following schools are now closed:

Carbon Career and Technical Institute

Lehighton Area

Northern Lehigh

Palmerton Area

Panther Valley

Pleasant Valley

Northwestern Lehigh

Jim Thorpe

Weatherly

Tamaqua Area is the only school to still be listed as a 2-hour delay.
