State police at Lehighton are investigating a burglary at a Monroe County residence.

Troopers said the residence at 1521 Keystone Lane, Eldred Township, was entered sometime between 7 a.m. Dec. 22, 2014, and 2 p.m. Dec. 23.Troopers said the criminals busted out a window in the front garage door and reached inside to open the door. Once inside the garage they removed two long copper pipes. The home is owned by Jeff Borger, of Kunkletown, and Tom Horan, of Hoboken, N.J.
