White Street in Bowmanstown is closed as state police investigate this crash which brought down a utility and live electrical wires.

The crash occurred just after 4 p.m.

Neighbors at the scene report a young male was operating a sport utility vehicle west on White Street when he struck a parked vehicle.

The impact of the crash sent the parked vehicle into a utility pole snapping it off at the base. Live electrical lines are down laying along the sidewalk. State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
