Quick response by area firefighters saved a Polk township home from being consumed by a fast moving fire.
Emergency personnel were called to a working dwelling fire along East Nottingham Drive in Robin Hood Lakes at 5:15 p.m. Friday. Firemen found flames in the attached garage portion of the single family wood frame dwelling.
Firefighters extinguished the fire before it traveled into and through the main potion of the home.
No injuries were reported in the incident. Due to the remote location of the scene water had to be tanked into the site.
