A Palmerton woman has been charged with retail theft in Mahoning Township.

Joamber Glasoe, 26, was stopped by Walmart loss prevention employees at 9:10 p.m. Nov. 29 as she tried to leave the store with $101.10 of merchandise in her purse, according to township Police Chief Audie Mertz.This is Glasoe's second retail theft charge, and a misdemeanor, according to Mertz.
