Members and guests celebrated the 125th anniversary of Citizens Fire Company No. 1, Tamaqua, at a November banquet held at Tamaqua Elks Lodge.
Numerous awards were presented, among them Tom Hartz Jr., recipient of the fire company Appreciation Award, and Richard Wentz, Joe Hollister and Charles Hollenbach received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
A celebration cake was a centerpiece at Citizens Fire Company's 125th anniversary dinner held recently at Tamaqua Elks Lodge.
