A Schuylkill County bank was robbed at gunpoint early Thursday afternoon.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said a white male entered the M&T branch bank, located at 100 W. Market St., Orwigsburg, about 1:05 p.m. and demanded money from two tellers. A silver handgun was displayed during the robbery.The suspect then fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money.Troopers said the suspect was wearing a green jacket with the hood up, and had his face covered from the nose down with a black covering. He was described as being about 5-feet, 7-inches tall, weighing 160 pounds and believed to be in his 30s.He was last seen on foot heading west on West Market Street.No one was injured in the incident.
