A one-vehicle rollover crash near the Carbon County Courthouse in Jim Thorpe has been reported this morning.

According to scanner reports, the crash happened just after 7 a.m. on Packer Hill Road, which winds down from the heights section of the borough. It appeared the Chevrolet SUV, driver not identified at this time, was attempting to come down the hill when it lost control. The driver was trapped inside the vehicle following the crash. The condition of the driver is not known at this time.

Emergency crews from Jim Thorpe, Lehighton and Nesquehoning were called to the scene.

It was noted that roadways are slick from the winter storm moving through the area over the last few days.
