One person needed medical attention following a two-vehicle crash in Summit Hill Monday morning.
The crash happened just before noon at the intersection of Route 902 and West White Bear Drive in the borough.According to Summit Hill police, a 2010 Honda pickup, driven by Sally Mann of Jim Thorpe, pulled out of West White Bear Drive, entering Route 902, and into the path of a 2009 Ford Focus, driven by Phyllis Raub of Palmerton, who was traveling down Route 902 from Summit Hill. The Honda struck the Focus.Summit Hill police responded to the scene and were assisted by Summit Hill and Lansford fire companies, as well as borough fire police.A passenger in the Focus was taken via Lehighton Ambulance to an area hospital for treatment.Both vehicles were towed from the scene.Charges are pending the results of the investigation.
