Richard and LuAnn Noll of Lehighton recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.

They were married Nov. 29, 1974, in Zion United Church of Christ, Lehighton, by the late Rev. Dr. Jerome Wenner.Mr. Noll is the son of the late Willard and Kathryn Noll of Bowmanstown and is retired from Alliant Tech/Hercules Aerospace Division. Mrs. Noll, the former LuAnn Williams, is the daughter of the late Lewis and Helen Williams of Lehighton, and is a retired furniture buyer, having worked for Kern's Furniture.The couple celebrated with a cruise in June to Scotland's Inner Hebrides Islands, Ireland, Wales and were in Normandy, France, for the 70th anniversary of the D-Day Invasion.
