From handbags, to jewelry, to personalized handmade items, Chic Boutique has it all.Located at 415 Delaware Ave. in Palmerton, the shop is owned by Jenelle Costenbader.Costenbader said the business sells handbags, jewelry, scarves, wallets, wristlets, cellphone cases, and features two crafters with personalized, handmade wine glasses and handmade purses and scarves."I was always looking for a store like this," Costenbader said. "I thought it would be a good idea, and tried it."Costenbader said customers say the shop is "unique, and they love that Palmerton has something like this.""We're a small, unique store with items you wouldn't normally find in other stores," she said. "I look for different items to bring to Palmerton."From a cost perspective, Costenbader said the shop is "very reasonably priced."Costenbader said her goal is to expand the business and eventually open another store locally.Chic Boutique is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. It is closed on Mondays.
