Tree lightingThe Nesquehoning Lions Club has received the town's first community Christmas tree and has planted it in the St. Patrick Cemetery.The official first lighting of the new community tree will be held at 5:45 p.m. Saturday.The public is encouraged to come out for the event.VFW AuxiliaryChristmas partyThe annual Christmas Party of the Nesquehoning Memorial VFW Ladies Auxiliary will be held at 5 p.m. Monday at Lengyel's Restaurant.A brief business meeting will be held, followed by dinner.All members are welcome to attend.Panther ValleySenior CenterThe following are a listing of upcoming activities at the Panther Valley Senior Center, 90 E.
