SCRANTON Through a one-day regional "Miracles for Munchkins" in-store fundraiser, Dunkin' Donuts of Northeastern Pennsylvania announced it raised and donated $10,000 to support Children's Miracle Network at Geisinger. Throughout its three-year partnership with Children's Miracle Network at Geisinger, Dunkin' Donuts has raised $30,500 for the organization.
Dunkin' Donuts shops across northeastern Pennsylvania hosted the daylong fundraising event Oct. 22.More than 50 Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in the region offered a free medium hot chocolate to customers who made a donation of $1 or more to support Children's Miracle Network at Geisinger.Local owners representing regional Dunkin' Donuts restaurants presented a check for $10,000 on WBRE's "PA LIVE" on Nov. 21. The funds raised by this event will help provide pediatric equipment, programs and services at the Janet Weis Children's Hospital and throughout the Geisinger Health System.
