A Stroudsburg man reported someone stole a tractor-trailer from in front of his house in Chestnuthill, but it actually turned out to be a repossession matter, according to state police at the Fern Ridge barracks.

Police said Jeffrey Edwin King, 49, reported someone broke into and took the rig from in front of 112 Candy Court, Chestnuthill Township.Police said it was later learned the owner of the tractor-trailer was repossessing it from the victim.
