MANCHESTER, Pa. (AP) - Gov.-elect Tom Wolf says he'll forgo his salary as the state's chief executive and that he and his wife plan to divide their time between their York County home and the governor's residence in Harrisburg.

Speaking to reporters Wednesday, Wolf said he'll give the salary to charity or return it to the state, depending on what the law allows. The salary is currently $187,256. The wealthy businessman says he adopted a similar policy during his two years as revenue secretary in the Rendell administration.

Wolf says he and his and wife will use both their family home and the state home while he is governor. Wolf says he considers himself a "citizen-politician" but that he also wants to become "a part of Harrisburg."
