The victim of a two-car collision in Hometown has been identified.
According to Sgt. Duane Frederick, Rush Township Police, Raymond J. Poreca, 76, Hometown, was killed when his vehicle collided with a car driven by a Lansford woman as Poreca was attempting to exit a parking area on Claremont Avenue (Route 309) just north of Ben Titus Road in Still Creek at 5:40 p.m.
Another motorist was injured and airlifted to Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest Hospital.
Two hours later, emergency responders were dispatched to another two-car crash two miles south at the entrance to HT Commons Shopping Center.
