A young man escaped serious injury Tuesday afternoon after the car he was driving impacted a set of guardrails in Nesquehoning.

The accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. as the man was driving south on Route 93, just after the truck runoff.The driver lost control of the vintage Jaguar, crossing the three lanes of the roadway and impacting the guardrails along the northbound berm.The victim was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics and transported to an area hospital.Nesquehoning police are investigating the incident.
