A Schuylkill County man has been cited for retail theft which occurred at the Schuylkill Mall in New Castle Township.

State police at Frackville said David Joshua Hower, 25, of Frackville, entered the Kmart store and attempted to remove a Bluetooth Jam Classic wireless speaker without paying for it. He was stopped by store security personnel upon leaving the store. The item is valued at $39.99.The incident occurred at 8:30 a.m. Friday.
