Emily and Jerry George recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary.

They were married Sept. 29, 1984, at Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Trachsville, by the late Rev. John Light.Jerry and Emily are owners of New Lawn & Landscaping in Palmerton.An anniversary dinner given by their children and grandchildren, along with family and friends, was held at the Palmerton Rod & Gun Club.They also plan to take a vacation trip to Key West to celebrate.
